Adult DVD – Rolling Face
“Rolling Face” pushes further into the rave half of the band’s sound, all high-BPM synths and barely any room to breathe between hits.
The song comes from Adult DVD’s self-titled debut, out September 25 via Fat Possum Records UK, recorded and self-produced by the band at their hometown’s Nave Studios. It follows two earlier EPs, “Fountain Of Youth” in 2023 and “Next Day Shipping” in 2024, plus the two previous singles already pulled from this record.
The lyric follows a guy who skips going home after a 3am breakup with his friends and heads to a casino instead, convinced he’s still sharp, still in control. He wins big early, loses his grip fast, hides in the bathroom, gets pulled back up by a stranger, and goes right back to the tables anyway. By the end he’s decided he’s found a new home there.
